Mirlene Jean-Pierre Mergena joined our team in August 2023 as a business coach for the EMPLOY Program. Mirlene Jean-Pierre is very hard-working. She takes her responsibilities very seriously and works with beneficiaries to help them through the process of receiving a loan, strengthening their business and paying back the loan.

Mirlene Jean-Pierre also meets the beneficiaries in small groups on a monthly basis so they can share their experiences and learn from each other. Dedicated, respectful, and supportive, Mirlene is a valuable member of the APMCH staff. She’s usually very quiet which gives strength to her words when she finally speaks.

Mirlene Jean-Pierre is married and has two children, Rebecca, her daughter and Samuel, her son. She’s a devout Christian who actively participates in religious activities at her church.
