Kanpe Fèm Christian Academy Launches
Dear Friends of Help for Haiti,
I am delighted to share that today, KFCA officially opened its doors for the very first time.
Getting here was no small task. From June through September, we faced many challenges, and there were moments when this day felt far away. Yet through every step, God was faithfully watching over us, and this morning we saw the fruit of that journey.
Here is where we stand on opening day:
112 students welcomed on our first day
A full administrative staff and 13 dedicated teachers in place
Clean, freshly painted classrooms and fully prepared restrooms
A light breakfast for our students, especially those who travel from far or may not have eaten at home
What moved me most was the children themselves. Every student arrived happy and eager to learn, and seeing their faces made every late night and every obstacle worth it.
Romans 12:12 captures our journey well:
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer”
And as we look ahead, Galatians 6:9 reminds us:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Thank you for your support, your guidance, and your prayers. None of this happened alone. I have attached a few photos from today as a testimony of what God has done, and I look forward to building on this foundation together.
With gratitude and blessings,
Johanne
